Danaye from 98-5 Virgin Radio is getting married next July, and in preparation she's decided it's the right time for braces.

So, I'm all Invisaligned!! Got my appliances last week from Dr. Badawi from Smile Elements. They're a dream! It was a little tough to talk for the first couple of days (I said Kanye Wetht on the air during The Sleaze) but I don't even notice them already! Check out the awkward video of me "in the chair" with my mouth wide open!

I'm 9 months away from the big day! My fiance Matt and I will get married next July. The second you get engaged, a million different thoughts enter your mind. Let's face it, some of those thoughts have been bouncing around in there since you were 5. You start thinking of who you you're going to ask to be your bridesmaids, what your dress is going to look like and how you will wear your hair. What you don't think of is "What will my smile look like on the day I plan to do a lot of smiling?". Thankfully Dr. Badawi at Smile Elements did think of that for me. He has offered to help give me the perfect smile for my wedding day with Invisalign braces...

Dr. Badawi accepts part time associate professor position at the University of Alberta. Dr. Badawi will extend his commitment to the University of Alberta graduate othodontic program. He will be supervising post graduate orthodontic residents research in the field of biomechanics and clinical orthodontics.

Dr Badawi is an academic as well as a clinician, he dedicates a considerable amount of his time to his research studies at the University of Alberta. His PhD research has been recognized by the orthodontic community as one of the most significant research studies in the profession. Dr. Badawi continues to carry out his research projects at the University of Alberta, and continues to share his research findings with his peers in various professional meetings.

In January 2009 spoke to a group of more than 2000 attendees in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr Badawi intends to continue his academic and lecturing activities, in an attempt to improve orthodontic treatment methods for his patients and many others.

In May 2008 Dr. Badawi gave a brief talk at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in Denver, Colorado. In September 2008 he gave a lecture at the Gorman institute in Chicago to a group of more than 150 orthodontists. And in October 2008 he presented his latest research findings to an audience of more than 1500 European orthodontists in Rome, Italy.
