Our Staff

We have a young, energetic staff, fully trained to assist the doctor and provide care to all patients. Our goal is to make your visit and experience with Smile Elements an entirely worthwhile and pleasant experience.

Cara

I have been an Orthodontic assistant since 2001. I joined the smile elements team in 2008, shortly before having my first baby. After maternity leave I returned to work in a new position at the front end. I am very excited about this new role. I enjoy working in Ortho because of the change I see in our patients and the confidence a beautiful smile brings to them. With my free time I love to run with my husband and our dog Roxy, Sea-doing at the lake, enjoying a good cup of Starbucks and being with my daughters.

Jamie

I have been a dental assistant since September of 2008. I have been apart of Dr. Badawi's team since March of 2009. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending her time with my husband and our 2 dogs Frankie and Steve. In the winter, most weekends I head to the mountains and go skiing. In the summer time you will find me at a lake boating or at the cabin.

Jean

I graduated from KDM College in June 2005 with honors. Soon after graduating I started my career in orthodontics. I have a passion for helping people achieve the best smile possible and love the people I work with. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading and listening to music in my spare time.

Karla

I completed my dental assisting in May 1994 at NAIT in Edmonton Ab. I moved to Calgary right after completing my schooling and worked as a dental/surgical assistant. After 13 years of assisting she decided to venture in to the administration area of the dental field and has been doing that now for the last 3 years. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family. Camping, Boating and spending time with friends are the highlight of every weekend and holiday.

Loni

I completed my dental assisting on the Deans List, May of 2004 at COTR in Cranbrook BC. I moved to Calgary soon after. When not at work you can find me at the dog park with my dog Ozzy. I also enjoy Camping, Quadding, Boating, Traveling and hanging out with my friends and family.

Richelle

I graduated from SAIT in June 2011. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book, watching TV and going to the movies. I also enjoy camping, wakeboarding and going to the lake.

Angie

I completed dental assisting in 2006 but chose to take the administrative path and have enjoyed it ever since. I joined Smile Elements in 2011 and love being a part of Dr Badawi's team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, travelling, working out, yoga, but most importantly having quality time with my friends and family.
